Hello, my name is Marcus. I am from Johnson City, TN.
I have been building model cars for about 30+ years or so. I have about 250+ UNBUILT cars and trucks in my closet.
Everything from drag cars, customs and semis......you name it, I probably have it. I usually build one off customs
or drag cars. I regularly attend about 6 or so shows a year.....from Cookeville to Knoxville to Roanoke Va. and
a few local shows. I love going to the shows and getting ideas from other modelers as well as sharing what I
have learned over the years. I am also into R/C cars. I have raced and built quite a few. I
am currently working on an R/C truck....with FULL WORKING hydraulics.....and it will do all the moves the real cars and trucks
can do.......and still be completely drivable. I will post pictures as I go along. My #1 passion right now is
the Nissan Skyline. I have over 70 of them ranging from little tiny Zip Zap style R/C cars up to 1/5 scale R/C
and everything else in between. I have the race style cars that raced on the JGTC circuit, street racer style Skylines
and full blown customs. I look all the time in stores for a Skyline I do not have. I have become a fanatic about
them. I will build and collect them until there are no more. In the last 4 or 5 years I recently got
into building replicas. It all started about 5 years ago with the Lakeside cement truck. A guy approached
me on building one for a company....something I had never done before. I enjoyed it so much, if there is a real car
I see, and there is a model of that car, I will try to duplicate it. I never wanted to get into replicas,
but it is actually fun. I hope to be building for many more years to come. I want to give thanks to my mom for
putting up with this never ending passion I have for model cars and for the money I spend on them. She
has helped me alot on deciding designs for cars or helping me on how a car or truck might look good and she enjoys
seeing the finished product.......she also likes going to the shows to. Thanks mom, I love ya.
