This altered was my first venture into working with resin parts. All the resin parts
came from COMPETITION RESINS. They are of very high quality. It started out as a 1/16 scale funny car. The
body, rims, radiator/gas tank and blower scoop are all resin parts. The front steering arms were replaced with alluminum
tubing. The left rear wheel is removable, and you can see the studs on the brake drum for putting the wheel back on.
The body was shortened, along with the height of the radiator/gas tank. The rear wing came from a 1/16 scale Don Garlits
dragster. All of the braided lines are actually craft store braided cord for making jewelry, with beads on the
ends to simulate hose fittings. This car was a joy to build, and i plan on building many more.
